In our Business Area

E-Mobility Solutions:

Backed with strong engineering and financial credentials in Energy domain, NVVN is looking forward for opportunities related to energy services and associated infrastructure. In its pursuit for business diversification and alternate businesses NVVN is actively seeking interest in rapidly emerging new alternatives to fossil fuel based transportation and logistics.

NVVN has recently forayed in e-mobility solution segment providing electric vehicles and related services across various domains.

Green Transport Solutions:

NVVN provides complete solutions for E-vehicles under dry / wet lease including related services such as charging stations under various vehicle segments for projects of State / City Transport Authorities / Corporates / Govt. bodies/ Schools/ Universities etc. on commercial arrangements.

NVVN entered into an MoU with Directorate of Transport (DoT), Andaman & Nicobar Islands for providing (20 + 20) Nos electric bus solution along-with associated infrastructure for contract duration of 10 years in ecologically sensitive zone. The electric bus solution shall be powered through an independently set-up solar plant to make it completely green.

NVVN is implementing 01 eBus solution under CSR to DoT, Arunachal Pradesh for demonstration of green transport solution. It is under discussions with several independent bodies and institutions for providing completely green transport solutions using low cost renewable energy options.

NVVN is participating in various electric bus tenders of STUs/Govt bodies under FAME II.

Charging Infrastructure Solutions:

The supply side infrastructure is essential for sustaining and creating demand in long run for electric vehicles. NVVN has been sanctioned and allocated several locations by Department of Heavy Industries (DHI) for continuous augmentation of related charging infrastructure for promotion of electric vehicles.

Besides, sanctioned locations, NVVN is keenly looking and creating various partnerships in focus cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Bhopal, Lucknow, Jabalpur, Noida for increasing the charging infrastructure.

Battery Swapping Solutions:

In order to develop inhouse expertise in eMobility and related infrastructure, NVVN has carried out pilot project for battery charging & swapping station with 50 Nos electric vehicles in Faridabad. The pilot project has successfully modelled battery charging and swapping business on a limited scale. The learnings and inputs from the same has been planned for scale-up across the country.

Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Solution:

NVVN believes in Hydrogen as the potential fuel for the future as it guarantees fuel security and provides import substitution against the crude oil. Globally, several studies were undertaken to study the technical and commercial viability of Fuel Cell based Electric Vehicle (FCEV) as a green alternative to fossil fuel based public transport. European nationshas undertaken several pilots to study use of FCEVs in public transportation and logistics. Also, several applications are under active consideration to use hydrogen in industrial motive applications and strategic applications at remote locations.

Additionally, several countries are making significant investments in creating hydrogen infrastructure to enable hydrogen based mobility.

Realizing, the potential benefits and applications of hydrogen, NVVN has undertaken pilot projects, based on FCEV technology, at Leh& New Delhi. The project is planned with partial financial support from MNRE to study the technical and commercial aspects and technology adaptation required for Indian climatic and environmental conditions.
